Since 2017, Simon has choreographed various projects for Mountview Academy of Performing Arts, one of the UKs leading theatre schools.

With writer Benjamin Till in the directors chair, Simon choreographed this astounding new musical set in the days leading up to the Battle of the Somme. It focusses on "The Leeds Pals" - a band of brothers sent to fight side-by-side in France and the family they left back in Yorkshire.
ON THE TOWN

Directed by Steven Dexter, this musical took on new extremes of "multi-casting" as the ensemble all shared the triple-cast leading roles! Actors would jump in and out of the characters several times in each scene.
This was a real exercise in narrative focus and brought a new kind of comedy to the classic Bernstein score.
THE SECRET GARDEN
In-House Production 2017
Simons first outing as choreographer for Mountview saw him working alongside Erica Gould on a dramatic re-working of the Lucy Simon musical.
The mystical, period piece required moments of authentic waltz as well as more heightened contemporary movement and dance to bring the garden to life.
