Annie Get Your Gun

Lavender Theatre, 2023

Annie Get Your Gun is a 1946 musical with lyrics and music by Irving Berlin and a book by Dorothy Fields and her brother Herbert Fields. The story is a fictionalized version of the life of Annie Oakley (1860–1926), a sharpshooter who starred in Buffalo Bill's Wild West, and her romance with sharpshooter Frank E. Butler (1847–1926).

This acclaimed revival was the first production at the Brand New Lavender Theatre in Epsom. Set amongst the great outdoors, this production transported the audience into a Wild West World of travelling theatre. Celebrating the music of Irving Berlin including the classics "I Got Lost In His Arms", "Moonlight Lullaby", "Anything You Can Do" and of course, the perfect song to open a thetare "There's No Business, Like Show Business!"
